Red alert. Or should I say red, white and blue alert.? November 15th is America Recycles Day!  Woo-hoo. Think of the time and energy that will be invested in this celebration of an activity that doesn’t really even need to happen. I mean, if recyclers would just invest that into helping me look for another planet for us all to live on, we’d be golden. I’m close to finding it, I just know it! So it I had a bunch more people gazing up into the night sky with me, it’d be no time before we were blasting off for my new waterfront property! So, here’s my suggestion to y’all.

On November 15th, instead of waving your aluminum cans and plastic bottles around, or parading down Main Street with your old newspapers bundled up ever so nice, put that creative energy into finding a new planet. I hear they usually name new planets after the person who discovered it. Heck, having a whole planet named after you sounds better than one lousy day spent celebrating recycling. What do you think? Tomturn, Tomtune, Tomcury here we come!
