My sister is typing again for me. I just learned about resolutions (I can’t spell it, I can barely say it). It means it is something that you want to do that you haven’t done before. I want to learn to write, so I can tell more people about what is happening at my house and in my life. My grandparents said they would read my blog every day if I wrote it every day. My other resolution for this year is to finally get a recycling thing. I filled up my box with cans and bottles from the kitchen, and with papers from my pre-school that my mom didn’t frame. Then our neighborhood started what is called single-stream recycling, which means you can put all of your recyclables out in one thing together.
So I was very excited that we didn’t have to have a special container. But when I put out my box, the recycling people took the whole box! I was sad for a while, but my sister told me that the cardboard box would be recycled, too! Then I wasn’t sad any more. I got some presents for Christmas that came in good boxes for putting recycling things in, so I am already filling up my next box. My dad still says we don’t have enough room in our garage for a recycling bin. I’m happy to have it in my bedroom. I'm just afraid of when I fill up my last box what I will put the recycling in. Oh well. That’s my resolution. Bye!
